ReSashay began operations in the spring of 2007 in North Potomac, Maryland. It is owned and operated by Eva Murray, d.b.a ReSashay Square Dance Consingnment.

My husband and I are square dancers and love to dance. The friendships we have forged and people we have met over the years have given us great pleasure. In addition to square dancing, we enjoy English Country, Contra, traditional squares and several forms of couple dancing. Eva is a contra caller and calls traditional squares at the monthly traditional square dance she organizes and calls for in cooperation with 4 other callers (http://www.hotsquares.info, http://www.evamurray.com).

ReSashay came to life when we discovered just how difficult it can be to find square dance merchandise at shops locally. An hours drive to the only brick and mortar shop in town in difficult Washington D.C. traffic is not a pleasant option for someone who already has a busy schedule! Waiting many months for the next festival to shop is a less than desirable option as well. Couple that with the fact that we all need to find ways to promote and support this wonderful form of dance for future generations to enjoy and that recycling is vital to the health of our mother earth, and out comes ReSashay - A Unique Online Square Dance Consignment Shop!

Our mission is to satisfy both our consignors and our customers by selling the items square dancers want at fair prices, and to promote and support square dancing. As an internet-only company, we are able to offer our customers low prices, while at the same time making more money for our consignors. Additionally, our consignors can decide to donate their proceeds to their favorite square dance club or organization.

Our merchandise changes almost daily! When new items arrive they are added to ReSashay.com as soon as possible. Once an item has sold, it is removed from our site instantly and automatically. One day we can have hundreds of items, and the next only a handful. If you don't find what you are looking for, please check back. Chances are you will find a whole new array of merchandise that wasn't there the previous day!
